1. We are the only resort that built "Disneyland for shooters" just for these shooting events.
2. We are the only resort that has the famous "show me bird BIRDS" where normal harvest is usually around 60%. Our extreme bird creates high volume shooting at birds up to 90 yards in the sky and 45 miles an hour. If you have been shooting at Doves - Ducks - Geese - that are coming to feed, land, water, or roost. You will not believe the shooting here, these birds are not coming in. They are flying for their life, climbing and gaining speed every second. Nothing in the hunting world like it.
3. We are the only resort that offer a shoot package, not grab a gun and go to a cow pasture and shoot. Our program has all the extras that others try to copy. Some have even copy and pasted our web site, but they can't copy the shoot nor the birds here.

Our European shooting program is like no other. Kim Shira, our owner, actually went to Spain to learn how to organize a European shoot. It is so exciting to be able to shoot at hundreds of pheasants. Shoot plenty of shells as the bird has the advantage here. THE ONLY THING COMPAREABLE TO THIS IS AN ARGENTINA DOVE SHOOT, BUT THIS IS A LOT CLOSER TO HOME AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS CHEAPER! Pheasants will come flying high above you, some up to 90 yards! Plus they are moving along at a mere 40-45 miles per hour! Our shooting course has 10 stations, so we can take a minimum of 10 shooters, or up to 20 shooters. Most of the shoots are 300-400 or 500 bird shoots. But we can do up to 1500 birds. That's a lot of shooting for a 3-hour shoot. One group last year shot 846 birds in 3 hours, but they had to spend over 4,486 shells doing it! One of the shooters told me, this was the best 3 hours of my life!? Another group in Feb. 09 did a 1000 bird shoot, downed 750 birds but shot over 7000 shells to do it! But, there is more to a fine quality European shoot than just shooting at pheasants. We add the King's Feast before the shoot, then we do an orientation meeting with the history of Lord Ripon, the master of European bird shooting. THE MEETING IS NOW DONE ON A 52 INCH TV, THE SHOW TOOK 6 MONTHS TO PRODUCE! You will learn all about the shoot before it happens so you will have more fun and excitement! We load up on the hunt wagon after the Kings Feast for the ride to the shooting course. There the gundogs are introduced to the shooters by the dog handlers. All shooters rotate stations during the shoot. So you will have your time at the famous stands, like "roosters revenge", "oh hell," we even shoot out of a "goose pit" and from a "Caribbean Island"! There is no other shooting course like this in America! In the center of the course is a 25-foot release area, which is hidden in the timber; all you see is trees in front of you or over your head. NOTHING LIKE WHAT SOME RESORTS DO! THIS IS REAL and NATURAL SHOOTING where you can't see where the birds are coming from. How many are coming, How high or High Fast. The pheasants begin their flight high above the ground, then have 60 yards of flying time before they get to the shooters. It is very challenging for the shooters. Few groups shoot over 70% of the birds. On our first shoot our professional staff spent 756 shells on a 175- bird shoot. They only downed 74 birds that day! They still make excuses for that day, and can't wait for the next staff shoot.The shooting is so challenging, it is common for 2,000 to 7,000 shells to be spent in three hours! This depends on the number of birds in the shoot. In Dec. of 2008 we had a group from Arkansas shoot 3500 shells and downed 178 birds! They now have two shoots booked for the 2009 season!You must see it to believe it! JUST WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE! Another group from Exxon on Feb. 6, 2010 did a 1000 bird shoot! They had 14 or the 20 shooters with extended mag. 11 shot autoloaders. In all they spent over 7100 shells and got 703 birds! Another group of 20 shooters did a 300 bird event. None had ever been here before; it was a WOW experience they said. After the smoke cleared they had shot 21 cases of shells at 300 birds and got 96! This set a record for the 2010 season! The birds have complete advantage here, as high as a bird can be and 45 miles a hour. At times you are shooting at dots in the sky. That is why a 60% harvest in normal! This is Disneyland for Hunters I have been told! Just look at some of the shooting course below. That is why we do 60+ shoots a year! Great for corporate groups, church groups, any group that want to make wonderful hunting memories! Normal shooting is 6-8 boxes of shells per shooter on a 300 bird event. Then 8-10 boxes per shooter on a 400 bird event. Or consider that most shooters shoot 10-12 boxes of shells per shooter on the 500 bird shoots! Plus on top of the extreme shooting you will be watching world class labs do water retrieves. These dogs see more retrieves in a shoot then most dogs do in a season. It is a show!!! We are allowed to buy shells DIRECT FROM FEDERAL so our prices beat the discount stores, so get your shells here and save. On March, 27 2011 we hosted a 1220 bird event. After the smoke from over 9000 shells had cleared we have 686 birds in the freezer! This just shows you how much fun this is,,,, yet a true shooting experience that can't be matched anywhere else. A refreshment break is held halfway through the shoot, mainly to give your shoulder a break! After the shoot, the birds are divided evenly by the number of shooters. They are then breasted by the staff and packaged for your convenience. In an effort to recover all birds hit, we have a trained retriever within sight of each station. As a bonus, all dog handlers have Motorola radios, so you can hear the excitement, excuses, and all the grand bull coming from your fellow shooters. Then to finish the day, we make a group photo of all the shooters and the day's bag. Make sure your hunting buddies are sitting down when you show them a picture of you and hundreds of birds! Compare your bag of birds to those that went to states with a 3 or 4 bird bag limit! Most spent more money but shot less shells and birds. No bag limit here on our field hunts and European shoots. The real fun is at Show Me Birds, that is how it got it's name. We are not in Missouri the show me state; we show you birds!!

15-bird per person shoot is only $343 / pp = 15 BIRDS x 20 SHOOTERS = 300 BIRDS
20-bird per person shoot is only $439 / pp= 20 BIRDS x 20 SHOOTERS = 400 BIRDS
25-bird per person shoot is only $538 / pp= 25 BIRDS x 20 SHOOTERS = 500 BIRDS
ALL EUROPEAN SHOOTERS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY A $20.00 DOG HANDLER TIP
The only other fee is sales tax and the cost of your hunting license IF YOU NEED ONE.The special license is only $17.50 for a year! Best price in America for a non-resident! We sell Kansas CSA hunting licenses here at the office, but you can buy your license from the Kansas Department of Wildlife website at www.kdwp.state.ks.us, and avoid delays in getting your hunt started. To save time, please apply for your license online before your hunt. SHOOTS ARE HELD ON SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND MONDAY! Very popular so plan ahead! On most shoots, a good number of birds fly away unhit. Sometimes the farm can be loaded with these bonus birds. The group that hunts this farm the morning after may have several bonus birds. The group leader who booked the European shoot will have first chance to book the cleanup hunt for the next day. If they choose not to book this hunt, it will then be opened to the membership. A big reason to host a shoot! One group last year shot 71 birds on a 16-bird hunt! Wow, what a great deal for them! Host a shoot and you get the cleanup hunt the next day! You must book at least 12 shooters to host a shoot. Or join and shoot with a smaller number of friends. About half of the shoots have openings that you can jump in on with other shooters that booked the event.

WE CAN THEN HELP YOU FILL IN THE BALANCE OF THE SHOOTERS. SHOOTS VARY FROM 300 , 400, OR 500 BIRDS, YOUR CHOICE IF YOU HOST A SHOOT. YOU CAN HOST A SHOOT OR JOIN A SHOOT.
