Clay target shooting = Arrival early and sharpen up the shooting skills on our new Skeet Range! The range is located a half a mile from the clubhouse. Now hunters come in the evening before their morning hunt the next day and shoot a round or two. Afternoon field hunters can shoot clays in the morning before noon lunch at the clubhouse and then go do their guided field hunt. For European shooters, arrival time on shoot day is 10:30 am, so skeet shooting would be the evening before OR at 9:00 on shoot day OR after their European shoot.
ALSO NEW for this season! Trophy FISHING! We have one fishing area with Crappie, Hybrid Bluegill and Catfish; the other larger area has trophy BASS and Coppernose Bluegill! Enjoy added excitement on your bird hunting vacation. Fishing areas are just a half mile from the clubhouse! Enjoy before or after your hunts! These fishing areas were built for quality fishing at America’s Pheasant Hunting Resort! So you know the quality of fishing is as good as the hunting. We used the advice of several fish biologist from the Pond Boss organization in Texas. We even attend the Pond Boss Expo just to learn how to do fishing right! Hunters love to fish, now you can hunt and fish on the same vacation!
We also have a dock area for church meetings, corporate meetings, men’s retreats, church Bible study after or before your hunting. A large waterfall flows into the fishing areas. There is no charge for using the dock in the evening to our hunting groups. By special arrangement you can have dinner at the dock after your hunting day. Catering is by Chantell our resort cook and is at a reasonable price. Contact the office for details.

Come a day before your hunt. Our host hotel the Holiday Inn in Joplin, Mo. is only $35.00 pp with two per room. This comes with a free breakfast buffet and free 4 drink bar after 5:00. Coming a day early makes a great addition to your hunt package, for little cost!
Church groups we can offer a special place for outdoor baptism for your group. A bible study or sermon for a men’s retreat for the church; so plan a church hunting trip like no other today. Free to church groups hunting here!
